OUTREACH PROGRAMMES

• AMMREN organises field trips for journalists to research centres and communities to gather first-hand information on malaria for publication. For example, over 64 stories was written by AMMREN members in Ghana on the RTS,S Vaccine Implementation Programme funded by PATH to celebrate 2021 World Malaria Day.

AMMREN organises outreach programmes distribute treated mosquito nets and to educate communities and vulnerable groups on malaria prevention and control methods and other diseases and what they can do to reduce the burden of diseases.
