Journalists from small to midsize local newsrooms can apply for this free program.

News Catalyst and the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, in partnership with the Google News Initiative, are offering an intensive online training in digital transformation through product thinking.

The training will take place April 10 to June 5 and be conducted in English. Participants will cover every phase of product development and management in a news setting.

This round is accepting participants from Europe, Middle East and Africa. Students are expected to commit about four hours a week to the training.

The deadline is Feb. 17.
